Ductwork
The most important part of any central heating
and cooling system is the ductwork. No matter
how efficient your unit is, it is only as
efficient as the ductwork. A 16 SEER unit on a
poorly designed and installed duct system can
net you as little as 8 SEER. Not only system
efficiency but indoor comfort is also affected
by the duct system. You must have the proper
amount of air in each room for the whole indoors
to be comfortable.
At
C and C Service, we custom design a duct system
for each home or business. There is no “one size
fits all”. Our duct systems are manufactured in
our state of the art sheet metal facility using
commercial grade specifications. This means the
insulation values and metal gauges are higher
than minimum building code requirements. We use
galvanized metal on all main supply trunk lines
and commercial flexible duct for all branch
lines. We install volume dampers to tailor the
airflow for each room. We guarantee your indoor
comfort and will gladly balance the indoor
airflow on your new comfort system to make sure
