  • adequate for your family’s comfort, and

  • ensure the longevity of your homes building materials as well as your fine furnishings?

A simple question that has dogged the American homebuyer for decades, the answer eluding consumer &

Home Comfort Products
contractor alike.

First, allow yourself to picture in your mind the perfect home in which to raise your family. Basically it comes down to a container, of whatever size & shape you can imagine, that should not only protect your family from the harshness of summers heat & winters cold… but allow you the ultimate in enjoyable comfort season after season.

"Well, obviously", you say. But how many people do you know, or how many times have you yourself been dissatisfied with the level of comfort attainable in a particular home. I’m not just talking about warm in winter, or cool in summer. It’s more than that. Is that heating or cooling being delivered properly to the areas when & where you desire it? Are you & your family comfortable in every corner of your home? Is there a crisp cleanness to the air being circulated in your home? Is the humidity content at an optimum level or is your home crackling dry during the winter months? These are the issues that elevate a home from livable to enjoyable.

Now back to that original question… What does it take? It comes down to these five [5] basic elements… heating, cooling, humidity control, filtration/air-cleaning & delivery. Simple answers to a simple question. But remember, simplicity is the culmination of complexity. What does it take to bring these five points to bear upon this single question? That is not so simple, but it is achievable. And be aware… do not take the placement of your delivery system, i.e. the ductwork, in the queue above as an indication of secondary importance… or worse, not even worthy of consideration and scrutiny. It is probably the single largest reason people are dissatisfied with their heating and cooling systems performance. It is also the hardest to rectify after the fact. Duct sizing, placement of supply & return registers and attention to detail at the point of installation are all critical factors that can make or break a forced-air system, regardless of the level of equipment employed.

We at C & C Service have developed & pioneered some of the most unique & innovative approaches to the year-round comfort issue, with tremendous success in maintaining a delightful indoor environment in newly constructed homes where we are given the latitude to design & install the heating & cooling system to our specification and within a customers budget requirements.

But we didn’t stop there. We looked at older homes with inadequately designed & installed systems that just do not allow for comfort to be realized under even the least severe conditions and came up with an approach that solves a lot of the problems that the owners had long ago given up on pursuing, resigning themselves to the position that "this is just the way a hot-air system works… I don’t like it, but what can I do?". Our answer to that, of course, is PLENTY.

So give us a call. We’d be happy to discuss with you all of the comfort related issues that happen to apply to your particular project, whether you are planning & designing a custom home… be you architect, builder or involved owner, or perhaps you would like to explore what options are available to you in order to correct or enhance your existing situation. Pick up the phone… you’ll be happy you did.
